Memories from the 75th Anniversary Commemoration of Pearl Harbor

We came, we remembered!!!  Wow, what a trip!!!

The MHS Red & Blue Marching Band represented West Virginia at the 75th Anniversary Commemoration Parade of Pearl Harbor and other activities.  They made us all proud!  See the compilation video of the trip below.

Kroger Community Rewards Program

A simple way to raise money for the band.  Link your Kroger Rewards Card to the Morgantown High School Band account.  Then, you just have to simply shop at Kroger and the band will receive a donation.  This does not affect your fuel points.

Making a large purchase, i.e., appliances, lawn mowers, etc, a way to help the band is to go to Kroger and buy gift cards for the store where you are making the purchase.  The points raised will count to the band (and your fuel points).

To sign up for the Community Rewards Program, click on this link http://krogercommunityrewards.com/, 

Then you will need to:
  • Sign into your Kroger account.
  • Click on Edit Kroger Community Rewards information.
  • Update or confirm your information
  • Enter NPO number or name of organization, select organization from list and click on confirm.  In this case, it is Morgantown HS Red and Blue Marching Band
  • To verify you are enrolled correctly, you will see your organization’s name on the right side of your information page.
  • REMEMBER, purchases will not count for our group until after you register your card(s).  Also, you can only register for one group at a time.  So if you are registered for another, consider switching until the Pearl Harbor trip has passed.
Spread the word to all of your family and friends.  This will work nation wide at any Kroger location.

Making a large purchase, consider buying gift cards for the purchase at Kroger and the band can be credited for the purchase, i.e., refrigerator at Lowes, buy Lowes gift cards.

We have an Amazon Smiles account.  When you shop on Amazon by logging onto smile.amazon.com, Amazon will donate to Morgantown High School Band a percentage of your purchase!  Log-in TODAY!!!!

Uniform Information

Uniforms
  • Make sure your child's uniform is hung up, preferably out of the bag, to air out and prevent wrinkling.
  • Make sure their gloves are clean .
  • Keep the dinkles clean and white.
